As you are aware the BSRA Gautrain Subcommittee has been engaging internally to formulate a strategy on how to best engage and manage the relationship with the GMA (Gautrain Management Agency) in the matter of the Gautrain expansion .
After numerous BSRA / Hurlingham meetings to formalise a strategy, a meeting was scheduled between BSRA, Hurlingham and the GMA. The meeting took place on 14 November at the GMA Offices in Midrand. The purpose of the meeting was to formalise the relationship with the GMA and convey our concerns over the communicated route through Bordeaux South & Hurlingham. The aim was also to strengthen the relationship between the parties.
We hereby attach minutes of the meetings with comments made by the GMA.
The next step, post this meeting, is for the BSRA to register as an interested and affected party by the end of December 2022.
This is an ongoing process that will take a few years and the BSRA, represented by Gary Duke, will continue to update you as to any progress or news in this matter.
