BSRA Annual General Meeting 2025
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Bordeaux South Residents Association (BSRA) will be held online via Zoom at 18h00 on Wednesday, 14 May 2025.

To assist with vote verification, we ask that you use the same email address for:
- Registering for the AGM
- Attending the meeting
- Submitting your vote
Reconciling multiple email addresses is one of the most time-consuming parts of the process — your cooperation is appreciated.
Proxies and nominations
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. Completed proxy and committee nomination forms must be submitted by 18h00 on Friday, 9 May 2025. You can either:
- Email your completed forms to committee@bsra.co.za, or
- Deliver them by hand to: 13 Meyer Road, Bordeaux South
Digital signatures are accepted.
Constitutional update
We are proposing two minor updates to the constitution:
- Legal status of the BSRA
The most significant proposed change is the addition of a new clause (paragraph 1.2) that formally establishes the Bordeaux South Residents Association as a separate legal entity. This is an important step – in the absence of such a clause, there is legal precedent for residents being held jointly and severally liable for the association’s actions. This amendment protects us all. - Clarifying quorum rules
The second amendment confirms that proxy votes do count towards quorum for Annual and Special General Meetings. While this has been our practice, the constitution does not currently state it explicitly.
